I was inspired to write this article after recently having a vivid dream of my grandmother who has been dead for quite some time, leaving me with some questions.
A visit from Grandma -- I haven't "seen" my grandmother in ages. As I am about to write her story, I wonder-- will she guide me or stay away? Is she watching even now?
Such a good question. Dreaming about my grandma really threw me a curve ball. It all felt so real. Please keep me posted about this new book of yours. I'm sure it will be amazing! You know I'm such a fan of your writing...
My next novel is about my grandmother trying (and being thwarted) to do what she wanted -- get an education, be a businesswoman, in the Roaring 20s, but being yanked back to the Montana ranch and having to teach in a one-room schoolhouse. She was resentful her whole life about it -- but I want to give her a better ending.

That sounds like a heartbreaking albeit fascinating story. I cannot wait to read it!
